Unlike other investment funds, the Australian Securities Income fund allows you to choose the security, not the fund. Not only do you choose the security, you also choose the amount that you want to invest on it.
Asset backed mortgage securities are a mixture of residential, commercial, industrial, rural and development real estate in Australia located predominantly in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. ASL applies a conservative loan to valuation ratio [not to exceed two third value of security] to ensure a prudential risk margin exists to protect your investment.
No other mortgage security within the fund can negatively impact on your investment. ASL does not operate a pooled fund.
When your investment matures, you have the first option to reinvest on the security.
Your nominated investment is competitively priced to market rates for you to earn a good reliable return. (See comparative rates table - left column). Income is credited monthly to your nominated bank account.
The ASL interest assurance fund ensures your expected income is paid on time each month into your nominated bank account for immediate use.
